Rapid Assessment on Digital Economy Readiness in MENA and LAC

Vital Wave was engaged by a global organization to perform a rapid assessment of the state of the digital economy across 53 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. The firm began with co-developing an analytical approach based upon a set of indicators around key pillars that included digital infrastructure, platforms, financial services, entrepreneurship, and skills in each of the target countries. Secondary research and data analysis led to the identification of potential gaps in these key digital economy areas. The assessment led to the identification of potential gaps and recommendations for governments and stakeholders on priority areas of development and future work.
