Design and Support of a Common Geo-Registry (CGR) Software Platform

For example, Vital Wave managed and facilitated a consortium of actors working to support the design and development of a Common Geo-Registry (CGR) software platform. This platform supports management of multiple geographic hierarchies and master lists of geospatial data (e.g., household locations, malaria foci, village boundaries, locations of mosquito traps, locations of larval dipping sites) that are common and relevant across malaria elimination, vector control, and other health programs. The CGR acts as a central repository for standardized geospatial information that can then be linked to data in malaria information systems or other systems. Vital Wave was responsible for managing technical input, design, and testing processes across the consortium. This included managing prioritization of the product backlog between consortium partners.
