Egwuma Efo is an engineer and technology for development enthusiast with years of experience bridging gaps between technology and public health systems. She has worked in low resource settings across Nigeria, providing health systems strengthening strategies.
Prior to Vital Wave, as an associate and team lead at Clinton Health Access Initiative she provided strategic, tactical and cross-functional leadership for technology systems in Immunization and Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health programs, leading the development and implementation of several mobile and web based solutions to address problems associated with last mile distribution and service delivery points in the public health sector.
Ms. Efo completed her MSc. in Information Technology (Applied Systems) at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and her Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) in Engineering at Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
